First Down Promotions is proud to welcome you to another
exciting year of the Benefit Basketball Association. This
is the 13th year of the BBA and its "Score Points Against Drugs"
program. During the first 12 years, the BBA has helped
raise well over $2.5 million for local schools, recreation programs,
church groups, D.A.R.E., and police and fire departments across
the nation. We look forward to adding you to the list of
over 500 satisfied organizations who have hosted BBA games.
The BBA represents members of the twenty-three celebrity-packed NFL
teams. Returning
BBA teams include the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina
Panthers, Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers,
Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins,
Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders, Saint Louis Rams,
San Diego CHargers, San Francisco Forty Niners, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa
Bay Buccaneers. The BBA also features an NFL ALL-Star Team.
To host a Benefit Basketball Game, a host organization must first
apply to receive a date on the BBA schedule. A $50 non-refundable
Application Fee must be submitted along with a completed Application
Form. After your application is received, your organization
will be given a contract with the date and time of your Benefit Basketball
game. Once this contract is returned with the game fee, host
organizations can begin to sell advertisements, sell tickets and promote
the event. The game fee is needed to secure your organization's
game date and will be used to pay players who participate in your
event and to produce posters, tickets and programs. Information
on each team's game fee can be obtained by reaching the First Down
Office @ (650) 595-7797. It only takes a little hard
work to generate significant revenue. In fact, over 97% of hosts
put on successful BBA games over the past 11 years, averaging well
over $2000 per game. First Down Promotions has set up a high
quality, professionally structured fund raiser which will provide
organizations with the tools necessary to be successful.
